Privacy Policy

How we protect your data and process your inputs.

The "Client-Side" Privacy Advantage

Unlike most fitness applications, Calories.run is architected with a strict privacy-first model. Because our calculators run entirely on client-side JavaScript, your sensitive health inputs—including your age, weight, height, body fat percentage, and gender—are processed locally within your own web browser.

We do NOT transmit, capture, or store your personal health data on our servers. The moment you close the browser tab, your calculator inputs cease to exist.

Log Files & Cloudflare

Calories.run utilizes Cloudflare for DNS routing, DDoS protection, and edge caching. To maintain security and optimize network performance, Cloudflare may process standard web log information, including your IP address, browser type, and timestamps. This data is strictly used for security routing and network analytics, not for personal identification.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to monitor generalized traffic patterns and user behavior (e.g., which calculators are most popular) in order to improve the site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous traffic data. We do not merge this anonymous data with any personally identifiable information.

Google AdSense & DoubleClick Cookie

To keep our clinical tools free, Calories.run uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses the DoubleClick cookie to serve personalized ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites on the internet.

Consent

By using our website, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
